Nick and Nathalie met many years ago despite their relationship only being 2 years old. Nathalie had made some new friends at her workplace and invited them out for her 19th birthday. They agreed, and they asked if they could also invite their friend Nick. That fateful night, Nathalie and Nick met for the very first time, and although you may be wondering, was it love at first sight? It certainly was not! Nonetheless, over the course of the years their lives continued to develop. They hung out with their friends often thus building a bond with one another. Then, Nick was accepted to UCF and moved upstate. It was during this time where, believe it or not, the friendship between he and Nathalie blossomed. They would text each other frequently, and were so caught up with each other's lives that whenever Nick would make a trip down to Miami, he and Nathalie made sure to see each other. We believe it was during these years where they started to see each other a bit differently. They grew very fond of each other and enjoyed each others company. As time progressed, Nick graduated from UCF and moved back down to South Florida. Naturally, he started seeing Nathalie even more often now that he was a stone's throw away. They confided in one another, depended on each other through the good and the not so good, and understood each other like no one else really could. They secretly began to develop feelings for one another, feelings that scared them because of what they could do to the friendship it took them so many years to build. And so they kept them secret. People often questioned and even interrogated them, individually of course, about whether or not they were secretly together or had feelings for one another which they denied at every turn. But these questions added to their feelings, and made them feel even more so like they were destined to end up with one another. Time continued to go by, and there were moments Nathalie or Nick would be caught staring at the other, admiring each other. One night, they went out for a friends birthday in Miami and they were having a great time with friends, dancing and singing and drinking. At the end of the night, Nick and Nathalie found themselves alone. They were looking at one another, and without hesitation, Nick pulled Nathalie in and kissed her. She kissed him back. They were both so elated and decided their feelings were finally on the table. They had a long talk about all the changes that would come from entering into a real relationship, and although they were scared, they decided it was now or never and so they took a leap of faith. They dated for the first month in secret, hiding it from family and friends, because they wanted to make sure if things didn't go as planned, they wouldn't have to change how others saw them. But needless to say, after a month together, they were inseparable and totally in love. Telling their family and friends was so much fun. Hearing all of the "FINALLY" and "It's about time!" comments were so refreshing because they knew that everyone approved of them being together and that made everything even more sweet. Everyday since, Nick and Nathalie have grown closer together and in October of 2023, Nick decided it was time to take the next step. He proposed to Nathalie with the ring of her dreams and in the city of her dreams, Florence, Italy. Now, with their wedding, they look forward to bringing together all of the people they love the most to celebrate the love they have created with one another, as they become one with God's grace. They look forward to sharing this very special day with you and celebrating the coming together of two families to create one new one.
